Treasury says US, allies say freeze $58 bln of Russians' assets

WASHINGTON, Mar 9 (PRIME) -- The U.S. and its allies have blocked over U.S. $58 billion of assets of Russians under sanctions, include real estate, yachts and other property, the Department of the Treasury said in a statement on Thursday.

A multilateral workgroup elaborating the sanctions also reported having discussed prevention of a possibility of using the assets of the central bank and the National Wealth Fund.
